Registration: $40 registration through October 17th

Location: Morse School – 30 Pocantico Street, Sleepy Hollow

  • Registration limited to the first 1500
  • Costumes encouraged but not required
  • Race start/finish walking distance from train – Metro North Hudson line to Tarrytown Station
  • Kids’ 1 mile Fun Run (6 & Older) – $5 includes finisher medal

  • Please be advised that inline skates, baby joggers, strollers
    and pets are not permitted in the Sleepy Hollow Halloween 10K

Course Time Limit
Course will be open for 1 1/2 hours. The course will close at 11am.
Water stations will close with the course and any remaining participants will need to move to the sidewalks.

Parking

Village parking lot – limited parking is available in the village lot located off of Beekman Ave between Washington St. and Broadway (Rte 9) across from the fire station.

Parking lot next to Bridgeview Tavern (226 Beekman Ave)

Sleepy Hollow High School – the high school back parking lot is located off of Rte 448. Coming from Broadway/Rte. 9 take 448 (Horseman diner on corner – 276 N Broadway) and the parking lot is a few hundred feet on the right. You can walk down to the race start.

Bag check
Participant bags may be checked-in at the bag check table. Please affix the bag claim tag from your bib number to your bag. While a volunteer will be present by the table/bags during the event, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS.

Course
The course is challenging, scenic and fun! The course is marked by orange arrows throughout. Runners will start on Beekman Ave heading East towards Broadway/Rte 9 turning onto Washington and then down Valley St. From there the course takes you down to College Ave and then up Cortlandt back to Beekman heading West (towards the Hudson river). From Beekman turn right onto Andrews lane. Follow Andrews to Pocantico and turn left down Pocantico into the Manors. Please refer to the map of the course. There will be three water stations out on the course.

Results
Race results will be posted same day on the Rivertown Runners website
at www.rivertownrunners.org. Pictures from the race will also be available on the website.

Take the Metro North Hudson Line to the Tarrytown Station. From the station go left down Depot Plaza/Courtland St. heading towards McDonalds, then take either Courtlandt or Valley street up to the race start map).

DRIVING
From the East:

Take 287 West
Take EXIT 9 toward US-9/TARRYTOWN/SLEEPY HOLLOW.
Turn LEFT onto WHITE PLAINS RD/RT-119/TARRYTOWN-WHITE PLAINS RD.
Turn RIGHT onto S BROADWAY/US-9.

From the West:

Take 287 East/I-87 S/NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY S/TAPPAN ZEE BRIDGE (Portions toll).
Take EXIT 9 toward US-9/TARRYTOWN/SLEEPY HOLLOW.
Turn RIGHT onto S BROADWAY/US-9.

From Manhattan:

Take I-87 N towards ALBANY (Portions toll).
Take EXIT 9 toward US-9/TARRYTOWN/SLEEPY HOLLOW.
Turn LEFT onto WHITE PLAINS RD/RT-119/TARRYTOWN-WHITE PLAINS RD.
Turn RIGHT onto S BROADWAY/US-9.
